PLASA Riggers' Forum
The PLASA Riggers' Forum is a new event for 2011 aimed at riggers who are unable to attend the main conference but would nonetheless like to take part in discussion about issues affecting their daily work.
The afternoon will begin with lunch and a couple of beers and the atmosphere will be relaxed and informal, providing the right sort of environment to ask questions, get answers and discuss issues. Questions can be emailed in advance or asked on the day.
There will be a prize each for the two most talked about questions. Prizes will be awarded at the close of the Forum and the two winners will also receive free entry to the main conference and PLASA 2011.
An outline of the afternoon is detailed below. For prices and further details please click here.

Your turnChaired by: Mark Surtees Leading straight on from the presentation will be Question Time sponsored by Rope Assemblies. Prepared answers to questions received in advance and a chance to ask questions on the day. An idea of the sort of questions we will be answering: How can we get promoters to realise they need to book ground riggers as well as up-riggers? As a freelance, what insurance cover should I have? Why should I take the NRC assessment? Please email questions in advance to info@plasariggingconference.com |
